Cyndi has over 20 years of experience in engineering with the last 15 years focused on HR technology. While in leadership roles over the last 8 years, she witnessed varied corporate cultures and developed a deep appreciation for culture and its impact on employee engagement.
Prior to founding propsHR, Cyndi was Director of QA at PeopleFluent (previously Aquire) where she was responsible for quality and customer satisfaction of OrgPublisher and InSight products while also being active in product management. She gained a reputation for her tenacity while wearing many hats and leading projects across departments.
Circa 2001, Cyndi’s father was diagnosed with cancer. This ignited a desire in her to help others and she became passionate about fundraising. Since then she’s run 3 marathons for Team in Training and frequently donates her money and time to causes. She always looks for ways to make the world a better place.
Brad has developed HR software for over 20 years. Having been in leadership roles for the past 10 years, he witnessed the impact of corporate culture on his budget. He also learned the power of a simple “thank you”.
Prior to founding propsHR, Brad was Vice President of Engineering at PeopleFluent (formerly Aquire), where he was responsible for the design and development of OrgPublisher, the leading organizational charting tool. He also oversaw development of InSight, a workforce analytics and planning tool.
Brad is passionate about mobile software, first entering the space in 2002 with Palm Pilot and Pocket PC versions of OrgPublisher. And again in 2012 with iPad versions of OrgPublisher and InSight. And yet again in 2017 with propsHR.
Prior to PeopleFluent, Brad worked at Criterion, where he worked on a suite of HR software, including Affirmative Action planning, organizational charting, learning and succession planning software.
Author Lois Melbourne, of the My Future Story series, inspires readers to identify their passions, explore them, and shape their own future stories. As an entrepreneur and CEO of talent management software company, Aquire Solutions, Lois loved her career, and especially loved spending time connecting with people, mentoring, culture building and matching software to the right companies.
Now on to a new passion, Lois has created My Future Story, a book series for 9-12 year olds exploring their exciting and almost limitless career opportunities. “The STEM Club Goes Exploring” is available for order now. She speaks to HR Groups and businesses about ways to develop our future workforce via, exploration, conversations, internships and several other unique methods. Working with husband and business partner an app is under development to match students with careers that they could enjoy and thrive within.
As a partner in Melbourne Investments, she provides analysis of market and brand presence for start ups, and mentors entrepreneurs on their start up journey.
Growing up in rural Missouri she experienced first hand the lack of career education and direction. Working with people around the world and in every industry, she saw the powerful impact of people choosing careers they really enjoyed. These are the inspirations for Lois and My Future Story.
Ross Melbourne is a partner at Melbourne Investments, which makes angel investments and mentors startup companies. Ross is responsible for finding investment opportunities and for providing technical and financial due diligence. Current investments include ProFinda based in London and Robin based in Dallas. ProFinda is an internal corporate tool for talent matching and finds the best talent within a company for new projects and challenges. Robin makes lawn care as easy as booking an UBER ride and is experimenting with robotic lawn mowing which could be a complete game changer in a 70 billion dollar industry.
As founder and CEO of Sensori Games, which built the worlds first mobile games, set in real 3D cities. Ross designed and coded the following games: Save Dallas and City Salvation.
Ross was the founder and CTO of Aquire Solutions, a workforce planning and analytics software company. He was the original programmer for Aquire’s OrgPublisher, which is the most popular automatic org charting software in the world.
He lives in Southlake TX but was born in the UK. He speaks fluent British and is learning American.
Willard Zangwill is an emeritus professor of management science at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He has previously taught on the faculties of the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and American University, and he has sat on the boards of directors at Systems Software and the Institute for Professional Education.
Prof. Zangwill has spent decades conducting research on complex decisions, operations, and strategy. He has pioneered the systematic analysis of inconsistencies and discrepancies in human decisions, leading him to develop metrics that estimate the probability of surprise, risk and the quality of decision. His software, which utilizes, statistical Bayesian algorithms, has been deployed by major corporations as well as the intelligence apparatus of the United States government.
Prof. Zangwill holds a PhD in operations research and an MS in statistics from Stanford University, as well as a BA in physics (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Columbia University. He is the author of four books on strategic and statistical processes, and has been published in more than 50 periodicals including The Wall Street Journal. One of his pieces was selected as one of the top 50 in the first 50 years of Management Science.
